We are a couple in Beirut. In December 2025 we printed our first case file on our own table, and every game since has been written, argued over and packed by the two of us. Drag sideways for the whole thing.
We bought a detective case from a shop, cleared the table after dinner and put our phones away for it. It was flat. Statements about a city we had never seen, suspects nobody could picture, no reason to raise your voice. We were bored halfway through and stopped caring who did it.
Lebanese people love this kind of night, we just had never been given one that felt like here. So we decided to build that experience ourselves: our streets, our dialect, suspects you could swear you know. She was in before the sentence was finished, and she has been in every decision since.
Weeks went into it: building the case, setting the scene, deciding what each piece of evidence gives away and what it hides. Then testing it on real tables, rewriting what fell flat, printing it, and getting the packaging right so it arrives like a real file and not a stack of paper.
We chased the feedback ourselves, because we needed to know if it was actually good: complaints, weak spots, anything we could fix. 99% of the people who played it loved it, and the few notes we got went straight into the next case. That is why we kept going, and why every case since has been harder than the one before.
Nothing leaves the house until we have both read it. The orders are packed at our place, the WhatsApp messages are answered by one of us, and we still disagree about endings.
OneMoreChallenge is our first party game: a board, a die and a stack of dares and secrets, played out loud by the whole table. Nothing to read in silence and nobody to accuse at the end, just the first one to the finish.
